Social media and platform connection data we store (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok)

How to request deletion

IAM connects to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok through your Artist Panel. When you connect any of these platforms, we store connection details and platform data (e.g. profile information, follower counts, views, engagement) to power IAM features such as your Analytics dashboard, Social Media Automator, and Artist Panel. You can request deletion of this data in the following ways:

Facebook & Instagram

  1. Via Meta/Facebook — In Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → IAM → Remove, you can use "Request deletion of your data." We receive that request, delete your Facebook/Instagram connection and related data, and you'll get a confirmation code. Save it if you contact us.
  2. In IAM — Go to Dashboard → Artist Panel → Social Platform Connections, then disconnect Facebook/Instagram. We remove the connection; any previously synced data remains until you also request full deletion (e.g. via support).
  3. Email — Contact us at support@independentartistmethod.com and ask to delete your Facebook/Instagram platform data. If you requested deletion via Facebook, include your confirmation code.

YouTube

  1. Via Google — In your Google Account (myaccount.google.com) → Security → Third-party apps with account access → IAM → Remove access. This revokes our access; we will no longer receive new data.
  2. In IAM — Go to Dashboard → Artist Panel → Social Platform Connections, then disconnect YouTube. We remove the connection; any previously synced data remains until you request full deletion via support.
  3. Email — Contact us at support@independentartistmethod.com and ask to delete your YouTube platform data.

TikTok

  1. Via TikTok — In TikTok → Settings and privacy → Security and login → Manage app permissions, revoke access for IAM.
  2. In IAM — Go to Dashboard → Artist Panel → Social Platform Connections, then disconnect TikTok. We remove the connection; any previously synced data remains until you request full deletion via support.
  3. Email — Contact us at support@independentartistmethod.com and ask to delete your TikTok platform data.

What we delete

When we process a deletion request (via a platform's flow or your direct request), we delete your platform connection records for the relevant platform and all associated data we store (e.g. profile information, follower counts, views, engagement). This includes data used by Analytics, Social Media Automator, and any other IAM features that rely on your connected accounts. We do not retain that data after deletion.
